MSBinasalah kedua-dua tangan Abu lahab, dan binasalah ia bersama!
ENMay the hands of Abū Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Dengan nama Allah, Yang Maha Pemurah, lagi Maha Mengasihani.

مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
MSHartanya dan segala yang diusahakannya, tidak dapat menolongnya.
ENHis wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.

سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًۭا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍۢ
MSIa akan menderita bakaran api neraka yang marak menjulang.
ENHe will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame

وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ
MSDan juga isterinya, seorang perempuan pemunggah kayu api. -
ENAnd his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.

فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌۭ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
MSDi lehernya sejenis tali, dari tali-tali yang dipintal.
ENAround her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
